Beta terms for using ClockIN. Effective 28 August 2026. These terms are a working product policy and may be refined before general availability.
You may use ClockIN only if you can lawfully enter into these Terms. Keep your account information accurate, protect your login credentials, and use only accounts you are authorized to control. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
ClockIN offers different account modes for builders and recruiters. Recruiter-facing features are intended for genuine hiring or team-building activity. Do not impersonate an employer, misrepresent a role, collect candidate information for unrelated purposes, or create deceptive opportunities.
You keep ownership of content you submit. You give ClockIN a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, display and distribute that content only as needed to operate and improve the service. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, and do not misrepresent other people’s work as your own.
ClockIN can attach a 21-day decision deadline to individual job applications and surface approaching or overdue decisions. Recruiters remain responsible for the truth, legality and outcome of their opportunities. ClockIN does not automatically create an acceptance or rejection on a recruiter’s behalf and cannot guarantee that another user will respond on time.
ClockIN may help users describe paid work, mentorship or other arrangements, but unless explicitly stated otherwise ClockIN is not the payment processor, employer, staffing agency or contracting party. Users are responsible for agreeing scope, payment, taxes, refunds and any legal obligations between themselves.
Do not use ClockIN for harassment, discrimination, fraud, spam, malware, unlawful surveillance, credential theft, deceptive recruiting, intellectual-property abuse, scraping that degrades the service, or attempts to bypass security or access controls. Do not post illegal or intentionally misleading opportunities.
ClockIN may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts or investigate activity when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or legal compliance. We may preserve relevant records where required for security, abuse prevention or lawful requests.
Projects and profiles may link to GitHub, Vercel, payment pages and other third-party services. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. ClockIN is not responsible for third-party content, availability or transactions.
ClockIN is evolving. Features may change, break, move or be removed. We aim to keep the service useful and reliable, but the service is provided on an as-available basis and we do not promise uninterrupted access, specific hiring outcomes, employment, revenue or project success.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClockIN is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from user conduct, third-party services, missed opportunities, hiring decisions or arrangements made between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
You may stop using ClockIN at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security risks or legal requirements. Some records may remain where needed for legitimate operational, security or legal reasons.
We may update these Terms as ClockIN develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, surfaced in-product. Continued use after an updated version takes effect may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
