A quick guide to how ClockIN works, why it exists and what to expect from the product.
ClockIN is a work-first professional network built around proof of work, people and closure. Instead of optimizing mainly for polished profiles or generic engagement, it gives projects, build updates, collaboration history and accountable opportunities a central place.
ClockIN is designed to make the work itself easier to inspect. Projects can carry updates, proof links, collaborators and asks; opportunities sit alongside that work; and hiring flows are designed to reduce indefinite silence by making decision timelines visible.
Builder accounts are oriented around creating proof, discovering people and applying for work. Recruiter accounts add hiring-oriented tools such as posting roles, reviewing applicants and finding talent. Both account types can still build a public proof-of-work profile.
A project, shipped update, repository, live product, case study, design, research output, collaboration record or other verifiable work can add context. ClockIN encourages useful evidence over vanity metrics, but you remain responsible for the accuracy of what you publish.
Yes. ClockIN can pull in public project context from supported links such as GitHub repositories and public project pages. You can then add ClockIN-specific context, updates, collaborators and opportunity information.
Each job application gets its own 21-day decision deadline from the time the candidate applies. Recruiters are expected to give a final outcome within that window. Viewed or shortlisted states are progress states and do not stop the clock. ClockIN surfaces approaching and overdue decisions rather than inventing an automatic accept or rejection.
They are different ways to work with people beyond a conventional job application: collaboration records for work built together, paid scoped bounties, mentorship availability, and short build teams for projects or sprints.
The ATS tool reviews a resume and can compare it against a job description to surface match signals, missing keywords and areas that may need clearer evidence. It is guidance, not a hiring decision or guarantee of selection.
Communities are focused spaces around work, knowledge, events, mentorship and people building in the same area. The goal is useful context and collaboration rather than an endless engagement feed.
If enabled in Settings, ClockIN counts only active time while the site is visible and focused. Time spent away from the tab does not count, and a longer break starts a fresh sitting. You can change the reminder interval or disable it entirely.
Messaging permissions can be changed in Settings. Depending on your preference, you can allow anyone on ClockIN, followers, or mutual connections to message you.
Yes. Network visibility controls are available in Settings, including public, followers, mutual connections or only-you options.
Use the Contact page for product bugs, account issues, partnerships or other feedback. For trust-related concerns, include the relevant profile, project or opportunity link and enough context for the team to investigate.
ClockIN is still evolving. Features, policies and interface details may change as the product is tested and improved. Material policy changes will be reflected in the relevant Terms or Privacy pages.
